JOB PURPOSE:
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will contribute to the monitoring and evaluation, reporting, quality assurance, documentation and dissemination of learning from Concern Worldwides’ programmes in Manono Territory of Katanga Province, DRC. Concern is currently implementing WASH and Livelihoods development programmes, funded by DfID and Irish Aid, respectively, and an ECHO-funded emergency programme in Manono. The M&E Officer will also occasionally participate in more general programme activities, especially those related to the WASH Consortium programme, such as workshops at the provincial or national level. S/he will also liaise with the WASH Consortium Programme Quality Coordinator based in Kinshasa and with counterparts of WASH Consortium members operating within Katanga province; namely ACTED and Solidarités International. Overall the M&E officer will provide planned & timely support to effectively demonstrate programme progress and achievements through effective results based management.
