We’ve recently launched our delivery service in a number of markets and are continuing our rapid expansion. We’re looking for a City Manager in Washington, DC to lead our local team and win the DC market for OrderAhead.

The DC City Manager will work on a lean team where OrderAhead has zero brand and physical presence to launch and grow a new business from scratch. This role calls for a combination of marketing, driver operations, strategic planning, and leadership. This person should be able to thrive in an « all hands on deck » environment and share our intensity, grit, and passion for fulfilling our mission.

Responsibilities:

Research your city and learn the delivery pain points and market opportunity

Set up processes to onboard drivers to ensure the supply side keeps up with demand
Create and execute local marketing strategies and partnerships to drive user adoption
Anything and everything to make sure the launch and growth of your city is a success

Requirements:

2-6 years experience in marketing and business development or experience at a top-tier investment bank, consulting firm, and/or fast-paced startup
A jack of all trades; from operations to marketing and support, you’re excited to roll up your sleeves and do it all
Exceptional creativity
Aggressive: Not afraid of moving fast and pushing limits

Adaptable: Able to tackle a variety of tasks and execute quickly
Strong communicator: With potential partners (merchants and organizations) and with customers
Self-sufficient: Thoughtful and able to operate without guidance
