Hi There!
We are a private non commercial farm in Kurtistown on the Big Island of Hawaii ~ we have a large greenhouse which is sealed from slugs and rat lung worm disease. We also have a walking food path and outdoor gardens to play, dig, create in. A large outdoor community kitchen, dining area with WIFI access, bose speaker, and we have a full indoor bathroom for you to use as well! We also have an above ground swimming pool 😀
What we are looking for:
Physically fit fun folks who want to work outside in the sunshine, help feed rabbits, chickens, sheep, ducks. Assist with grounds maintenance, building the food path, as well as assist with other chores such as food collection, planting, gardening, weeding, clearing fence line.
Want to get creative? Let’s make art for the trail as well as paint murals, tile walls, and play with food, canning, preserving, making organic body butters and candles! Assist us with fun local events we put on from time to time here at the farm. We will introduce you to the fun places to play while you are on island! Night time bon fires are fun, we have a guitar and drums just waiting for you!
Pick a spot for your tent! We provide full indoor bathroom use, as well as provide three meals per day! We expect a 6 hour strong work day while you are here, for 5 of 7 days per week.

We have farm animals, including chickens, sheep, cows, rabbits, fish! We are excited to offer our o’hana to a volunteer who is interested in learning about permaculture, building, having fun in the sun with da weed whipper!
