The Grade, the hottest new dating app, has a new opening for a Digital Marketing Strategist.  This position will be responsible for identifying, testing and executing on numerous creative ideas to generate brand awareness and user growth.

You are hyper competitive, entrepreneurial, scrappy, and have something to prove.  You need to figure out the ‘why’ and understand this can only be done by watching and talking to users of your product.  You love a challenge and will work endlessly to succeed. You have a deep understanding of how Dropbox, PayPal, Tinder, Hotmail, and other products grew organically, and are obsessed with having The Grade become the next case-study in organic growth.  The head of growth will join a small and very passionate team and have total ownership over our growth and a say in all areas of The Grade.

The Grade is a cutting edge location-based mobile dating app that holds users accountable for their behavior. In just 3 months, The Grade has been featured by nearly every media outlet (Fortune, ABC News, Washington Post, NY Post, Daily News, Gizmodo, BI, CNN Money, etc) due to its unique concept and high quality product.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement an marketing strategy focused on user acquisition and retention using guerrilla and digital marketing tactics
  • Work effectively across multiple internal teams (product, creative, engineering, etc.) to deliver successful end-to-end campaign definition, development, and execution
  • Uncover creative and non-traditional means to capitalize on untapped sources of installs
  • Foster close relationships with tech bloggers and editors to generate media awareness of The Grade
  • Provide insightful analysis on current marketing campaigns while proactively providing areas of growth and improvement
  • Establish partnerships with consumer brands or media that will help drive brand awareness and new users
  • Develop and implement creative solutions for generating user acquisition and brand awareness, including campus rep programs and events
