Bed and Breakfast and Wedding Venue Needs help on the farm

Our Farm is Northeast Georgia’s newest Bed and Breakfast and destination Wedding and Events venue just 5 miles from the Alpine village of Helen, Georgia USA. We have an authentic 1800’s barn, the southern charm of the colonial farmhouse circa 1914, nestled among the Chattahoochee National Forest and Double head mountain range. We have done a lot of renovation to the property but we still have a few more odds and ends and we need help. We would love to have an herb garden, grow a vegetable garden and be able to repair our sheds and fences to house goats or other live stock. So many projects related to landscaping and construction.
We also have need to setup chairs and other items for the events.
We need someone to help with organization of the garage and the tool shop. We need help with cleaning and such.

We have some general clean up and organization duties on the property to get ready for our first Wedding and so forth, fence repair, wood repairs on the barn, decorating for the weddings, painting, pressure washing, mowing, weeding, clearing out the garage, making an inventory of props for weddings, building things for the weddings, gardening. Also need help with event setup, car parking. You name it. I also need help with my editing my Website(it’s already built), photography, video and other computer work such as spreadsheets, budgets, and sales. Very open to you being creative as well.
You can stay with me in the house until the day of the event. I will provide breakfast and lunch and sometimes dinner if you are still around. Otherwise you might desire to go into town.
I don’t have time to babysit a workaway person. You will need to be self-sufficient and if you see work that needs to be done, do it. If you are hungry…then make your own food please but clean up after yourself.

Accommodation

We have our bed and breakfast and some more rustic accommodations in our caretaker house. We would provide meals and transportation into Helen, GA when you want to tour or go hiking, tubing ziplining or whatever.
The Bed and breakfast has 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. Shared. I currently live in the carriage house on site that is 2 bedrooms and 1 bath and the Caretaker house will be renovated and will have 4 bedrooms. Sometimes our facility is completely booked and the beds are used up and you might have to move to another bed or to my friends house for a few days or share my apartment with me for a day or 2. You may also decide to stay in a hotel if you want to take time off.

Helen is a re-creation of an alpine village complete with cobblestone alleys and old-world towers. We’ve got shopping, camping, both rustic and luxury mountain cabins, restaurants, bed and breakfast inns, mountains, theater, recreation, romantic getaways, beautiful scenery, family activities, waterfalls, museums, history, art, fishing, tubing, golf, and more. Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains on the Chattahoochee River, this Northeast Georgia village has a rich history linked to the Cherokee Indians and Indian burial mounds as well as early settlers who arrived to mine for gold and cut virgin timber for a thriving lumber industry in the early 1900s.
