What we’re looking for:

DocuSign is looking for an engineering leader to grow and manage our mobile products and an amazing mobile development team. This person will be responsible for establishing a center of excellence for the development of mobile applications (iOS, Android, Windows) and the advancement of the mobile platform within the Docusign ecosystem. The role requires a dynamic, self-motivated individual with excellent communication, collaboration and technical skills to work cross functionally with other organizations (internal and external). Someone who thrives on building fantastic, cutting edge mobile products!

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead development of mobile applications (iOS, Android, Windows)
  • Lead design and advancement of mobile SDK
  • Recruit and lead world class software development teams
  • Provide technical direction, guidance and hand-on management
  • Work with stakeholders to define roadmap of next generation features
  • Drive timely delivery of software releases
  • Develop metrics and qualification processes

Requirements

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or related field of study
  • 8+ years of software product development experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing software product development teams
  • Current or previous hands-on experience developing native mobile apps in iOS and/or Android for a large-scale web service
  • Strong experience leading and managing the development of native applications on iOS and Android platforms (iOS 7 and Android 4.0)
  • Solid background in fundamentals of computer science and software product development process
  • Track Record of attracting, hiring and growing high-performing, highly collaborative teams
  • Able to demonstrate creative and innovative cross functional approach to problem solving, easily identifying and mitigating project risks
  • Ability to critically analyze technical trade-offs between different design options
  • Knowledge of networking protocols, REST Web-Services, JSON/XML
  • Can easily see and articulate the big picture while focused on short-term objectives
  • Independent, self-motivated with a sense of humor
  • Able to work out of our San Francisco, CA HQ (SOMA/Financial)
