Marketing Event Coordinator Intern – Temp

Location: Redwood City

Comprehend Systems is looking for a Marketing Event Coordinator to support the Marketing team. This part-time position will implement all trade show activities for upcoming event in June. If you are interested in joining a fast growing innovative software-as-a-service company, this is a great opportunity for you.This role will start beginning of April and run through mid-June.

Responsibilities

• Manage timeline/deliverables leading up to the June trade show and assist the Marketing team with event planning
• Coordinate arrangements with trade show Exhibit vendors and Sales team
• Track expenses to ensure adherence with event budget

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or a college student in pursuit of a BA/BS degree
• Strong verbal, written communication, and problem solving skills
• 0-2 years work experience preferred (Bonus if in an office environment)
• Attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to new roles
• Familiar with Microsoft products (e.g. Word, Excel) or Google equivalent applications
• Must be independent, self-motivated and success-driven, yet is a team player
