Media Start-up based in SOMA is looking for a User experience /UI Designer. The Designer role encompasses all things design in the company, from marketing and branding to the UI and UX of our web and mobile apps. You'll also be in charge of growing our user base and managing our mobile apps. Experience & Responsibilities: - Experience designing for responsive web, iOS, & Android - Experience with managing mobile applications, from scoping out features & functionality to deploying on App Store/Google Play - Able to produce wireframes and design comps for complex user flows - Work directly with our engineering & marketing teams to conceive of, design, and deploy new features and improving existing capabilities. - Define product strategy and roadmap. - Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Qualifications: 4+ years experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, user interface designer, or similar role Experience with designing mobile interfaces for smart phones and tablets. Experience creating beautifully designed functionality based on an understanding of design principles including typography, layout, color and composition.
