About the Job
As our Trainee Lawyer you will become an equal member of our legal team. You will work very closely with our General Counsel and take over challenging projects with a high degree of creative leeway. Depending on your personal interests, you’ll have the chance to work on matters of commercial, compliance, corporate and equity for Rocket Internet. When joining our commercial legal team you will support our ventures in becoming successful e-commerce companies by drafting key documents and analyzing legal IP/IT-matters. From time to time we can offer you “mini-secondments” in our ventures.
The position is available in lawyer stage (Anwaltsstation) or elective trainee stage (Wahlstation).
Who we´re looking for
After finishing your first bar examination (with a grade of at least 9 points), you have gained first work experience in the field of civil rights, industrial property rights and labor law. You are highly interested in business issues and characterized by your strong communication skills and assertiveness. Furthermore, you possess excellent negotiation and organization skills. Excellent German and English skills complete your profile. Last not least: You are a great team player, have a good sense of humor and are fun to work with!
