Sopexa is an international communication & marketing agency dedicated to food, drink & lifestyle implementing creative and effective 360° marketing solutions Worldwide for brands and collective organizations.
OBJECTIVE
- Position Sopexa as a benchmark agency for digital marketing in Continental China (and Hong Kong) in the food, wine and lifestyle sectors
- Develop BU digital marketing services and billings (expand customer portfolio)
- Contribute through his/her digital expertise to the BU’s and Group’s cross functional projects
- Advise customers as to the digital challenges in the Chinese market
MISSIONS / MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the responsibility of the Managing Director Asia and in liaison with Digital Factory management as a contributor ; with the sales teams to provide expert advice on digital marketing ; with Public Relations management to optimize the external relations plan.
Production
- Source/build up a portfolio of digital service companies for the BU (suppliers/digital tools development, social networks, SEO/SMO, e-commerce platforms)
- Oversee the purchasing policy (negotiate supplier contracts)
- Drive quality of deliverables, by monitoring project cost-efficiency (creativity, performance, ROI, etc.) in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Keep track of major digital marketing trends (best practices, innovations, etc.) to help boost the consultancy services of the Digital Factory - the group’s international digital team.
Development
- Drive digital marketing activities and monitor the main indicators, using available tools (dashboards, budget tracking as part of a profit center, CRM, etc.)
- Manage and develop his/her customer portfolio, drive customer loyalty and negotiate customer contracts when required
- Take part in local and multi-country requests for proposals/call for tenders: strategic vision, recommendations and digital plans of action, budget approach.
- Identify potential new business, organize new business meetings, present our digital services offering
Communication
Working alongside the BU’s Public Relations management, set out and drive digitally-related corporate communication strategy, through, for example, more effective presence in the Chinese social networks
COMPETENCIES REQUISED
Technical expertise
- Acknowledged expertise in social media applied to the Chinese market: good knowledge of players and stakeholders, platforms and their specific features, ability to advise customers on their digital marketing strategy (community management, brand content, social adspend), achievement of KPI and meeting ROI targets.
- Expertise in digital marketing in line with the BU’s historical businesses: web-to-store mechanisms, mobile apps, data management, e-commerce, paid media strategy.
- Ability to draft documents both in the language of the market and in English, a good understanding of French is desirable.
- Knowledge of the food & beverage business environment is an advantage
