As Regional Finance Manager for one of our ventures in the Middle East, you will be managing all finance for this business in the region, reporting directly to the regional finance director. You will need to be autonomous, proactive, and able to handle a large and varied workload.
Responsibilities:
- Financial modeling: you are in charge of modelling the business to enable an accurate planning and budgeting.
- Analytical support: we don’t want you to just produce models and numbers, but see you in the forefront of strategic decision making all based on your analysis.
- No model is perfect, so you are in charge of analyzing discrepancies between actuals, forecast, and plan which will help you to come up with better models in the next iteration
- Set up a tight accounting structure in all cities and work closely with the local accountant to ensure a unified accounting that will make it easy to understand and compare the financial situation of each city in the region
- Produce financial statements for investors and top level management
Requirements:
- BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar
- 3+ years in Banking and/or Corporate Finance
- Excellent Excel skills
- Strong communication and people skills
- Team player
- Self-starter: we don’t have time or desire to micro-manage. You will take initiative, be proactive, set and drive toward goals
- Attention to detail, balanced with swift execution.
- CFA or CPA good to have
