Vue d'ensemble

What we’re looking for:

About us:

Talix, a premier provider of healthcare risk adjustment solutions, delivers intelligent data analytics that enable healthcare organizations to turn structured and unstructured health data into actionable insights that drive improved risk adjustment and better patient outcomes. Our flagship product, Coding InSight, makes it easy for providers to help optimize care planning and delivery at the point of care. This is our story.

Founded as part of Healthline Networks, we created Talix to harness the power of data to drive real outcomes for healthcare organizations across the country. We’ve recently spun off independently, raised more funding, and we are ready to take on real healthcare problems and bring disruption to the risk adjustment industry.

We’re here to make a difference. Join us!

The role:

We’re hiring an experienced QA Engineer to build out effective test automation processes on our core product and work as part of our engineering team. As Talix takes on more customers we’re finding that automating testing whenever possible with Selenium, Cucumber, and other leading edge tools fits how we build and ship, and we continue to use manual testing on occasion to solve the truly big challenges.

If you’re interested in solving interesting problems in functionality testing, build verification testing and regression testing, and growing your skills in software development and team leadership we’d love to speak with you.

You will:

  • Architect and develop automated regression test suites
  • Lead QA testing on web apps as well as our backend batch processing systems
  • Perform system integration testing, load testing and analysis
  • Partner with engineers to verify defect fixes through our release cycle. We release every other week and use Jenkins for CI.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Experience writing test cases in Selenium
  • 2+ years of experience in QA Engineering
  • Experience with manual and automated testing
  • Experience working as part of a product or engineering team

Bonus points for:

  • Familiarity or some experience with Cucumber
  • Previous work experience in healthcare software or IT, or familiarity with HIPAA compliance

Life at Talix:

  • We are a mission-driven company, committed to driving improved outcomes and reduced costs for the people of the world.
  • At Talix, we’ll take care of you. We offer medical, dental and vision insurance, competitive salaries, stock options, and generous PTO.
  • We work hard, but we also recognize the importance of having fun at work. Ping pong, mini-golf tournaments, yoga classes, BBQs and Happy Hours are just a few of the fun activities here at Talix.
  • Love dogs? We do too. At Talix, we’re a dog-friendly office.
  • If you ever get hungry, don’t worry. We’ve got you covered with a fully stocked kitchen.
  • We like to give back to the community and support important causes. Every year, we participate as a team in Walk MS, AIDS Walk and other events.
