• Description

  Am Eddy Balina a team leader at a local organisation - The Non-Violence Project Uganda which was founded in 2011 with the vision of creating a safe and health environment where young people are inspired, motivated and engaged. We work towards reducing youth violence by promoting better alternatives for our young people like sports, art, music and entrepreneurship. We also run a skills training centre for the community the products out of the centre are sold for sustainability of the project.

  All this is made possible by people like you who commit their time to help out with training in our workshops, working at the centre, reaching out to schools among others. we welcome you to join in this great movement.

• Help

  We need the Help of Volunteers to reach out to young people and empower them with life skills and technical skills to be able to take charge of their future. Volunteers are of a great help in making this happen through sports, music, training etc.

• Accommodation

  At our centre. we have well furnished rooms for Volunteers. its safe and a great place for volunteers to interact with the community and learn about local cultures and foods.

• What else …

  During their time off. Volunteer can take community Walks, go hill climbing, go swimming at lake Victoria, attend community music and drama concerts, tour different places like the Source of River Nile or rest
