  Hello everybody! I´m Giulia, I´m Italian ( half-time cinematographer, half-time hippie soul.. ) and i live with my beautiful dog Z, and 2 little cats, in a very big house in front of the Pacific Ocean inside a Natural Park in Ecuador.
  I´m starting an eco project here, but I spend part of my time travelling óutside Ecuador and for this reason I need people (who love nature and a simple life) who can stay in my house while i´m out and who can take care of my animals and plants.

  Specific skills required : - Farming / Gardening - Animal Care- Agricultural Engeineer - Building Maintenance, Carpenting, Painting. I´m looking for a couple or two friends who live there for 2 months.

  Hola a [email protected]! Mi nombre es Giulia, soy italiana (mitad de tiempo directora de fotografía y la otra mitad alma hippie!..) y vivo con mi bellísima perra Z y dos gatitos en una casa muy grande en frente del océano Pacifico, dentro del Parque Natural Machalilla, en Ecuador.

  Desde hace un año empecé aqui un proyecto ecológico pero últimamente viajo muy a menudo a Bogota, donde trabajo en cine, y por esa razón estoy buscando personas tranquilas amantes de los animales y de la naturaleza, que cuiden y trabajen en la propiedad mientras yo no estoy. Cada viajero que ha pasado ha dejado un pedacito de su historia, un estilo de vida y mano de obra preciosa que se ve reflejada en todos lados.

  Habilidades especificas necesarias: experiencias en cultivos, jardinaje, cuidado de animales, mantenimiento de construcciones, carpintería. Busco una pareja o dos amigos que vivan en la casa durante dos meses.

• Help

  Take care of my project while i´m travelling means:

  Cleaning the house, planting, harvesting, weeding, watering, creative recycling.
  Taking care of the animals, feeding them, cleaning them.
  Helping in building some structures needed such as compost toilets or simple furnitures.

  Volunteers are welcome to contribute with their skills!!

  Cuidar de mi proyecto mientras yo no estoy significa:

  limpiar la casa, hacer mantenimiento, sembrar, regar, cosechar, cuidar el terreno, reciclar de forma creativa.
  cuidar los animales, alimentarlos, limpiarlos.
  ayudar en la costrucción de muebles sencillos, pintar las paredes.

• Cultural exchange and learning opportunites

  Travellers can enjoy a quiet and simple life inside nature, with a gorgeous panoramic view.
  They can prove themselves their skills building furniture or gardening, and managing a rustic house.
  In their free time they can explore the landscape to discover the isolated beach in front of the house, the beauty of different types of tropical plants in the forest and the biodiversity of birds’ colonies. (This area is considered the last part of South Pacific´s Tropical Forest and they can find here the perfect union between the Cost, the Forest and the Mountain.)

  Travellers can also spend their time fishing in the Ayampe´s river, make Kayak, diving and surfing. From June to October, humpback whales mate offshore and sightings from tour boats arranged in the near village of Puerto Lopez.

  Los voluntarios pueden disfrutar de una vida sencilla y tranquila dentro de la naturaleza casi salvaje del lugar. La casa tiene una vista increíble sobre el océano, y está rodeada de arboles y pájaros. Pueden probar sus habilidades en construir muebles, o cuidar la huerta administrando una casa campestre.
  En el tiempo libre pueden descubrir el territorio cercano conociendo las diferentes plantas tropicales y los animales que viven en la selva. Esta area es la unión perfecta entre Costa, Selva y Montaña.

  Hay muchas actividades que se pueden organizar con guías o solos: las olas de esta costa son muy famosas por el surf, en los pueblos cercanos se pueden alquilar Kayaks o reservar tour a las islas, hacer diving, cabalgadas en la selva y visitar culturas ancestrales. Desde Junio a Octubre se pueden ver las ballenas que llegan a la costa para parir.
