Market Manager, France - Based in Paris
Start Date: ASAP

We’re looking for smart, dynamic people to help us build the next great online travel company. You’ll be able to take chances, innovate on our product and be an integral part of building a world-class company. Our product is the world’s first 100% mobile hotel booking app, and you’ll be working with hotels within a particular region to make sure we are always bringing our users the best deals at the coolest hotels around.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Own the supply side for several cities/regions within France. This includes running our daily operations involving hotel partners, creating high quality long-term hotel relationships, and ensuring HotelTonight always has the best inventory
Identify out-of-the-box initiatives to engage hotel partners and acquire inventory that differentiates HotelTonight from other travel companies
Develop an intimate knowledge of each of your assigned markets with the goal of becoming the go-to source for all information relating to local trends and market dynamics (e.g. pricing, demand seasonality, compression patterns, etc.)
Sales! Develop new hotel business opportunities related to your HotelTonight markets, signing up the best hotels to show our users
Work with your Country Manager to execute strategies aimed at raising awareness and growing demand in your markets
Support the Marketing Manager in planning, rolling out, and monitoring localized marketing initiatives (mobile marketing, offline marketing, marketing partnerships)
Reports to the Country Manager

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU

Undergraduate or graduate degree from a top school (Business Administration preferred)
Native French speaker and great English skills (further languages are always a plus)
0-2 years of professional experience
Internet/startup experience is highly desirable, experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
Must demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for this role and what we’re building
Must be good at sales (and enjoy doing so!)
Must be confident interacting with senior-level hotel executives and building strong relationships within the industry
The ability to get things done with constantly changing priorities, projects and deadlines
Need to thrive in a collaborative environment, while also being able to manage projects with minimal oversight
The ability and willingness to learn quickly, and to do whatever it takes to get the job done

You must be an EU citizen or have documentation demonstrating your right to work in France
