• Description

  A small conference centre run by a Christian charity. As well as putting on its own events at the community welcomes groups and individuals who come for day or residential meetings. It is set in the Waseley Hills, Worcestershire.

• Help

  The work involves all aspects of the conference centre with particular emphasis on the domestic and kitchen side You will be given a schedule of your work times each week. However it is difficult to estimate how long the cleaning up after guests will take as it depends on group size and other factors. Therefore the actual finishing times may be later or earlier than stated. The work will have two aspects. Inside work includes such tasks as general office work, waiting on guests, serving meals, clearing tables, washing up, washing, ironing and cleaning. Outside work includes general grounds maintenance and tidying up.

  Single room with shower and toilet nearby. There is a shared staff kitchen and a staff TV room.

• What else …

  We are set in beautiful countryside with ample opportunity for walking. An infrequent bus service passes the end of the drive but a short 20 minute walk to Rubery gives access to shops and frequent buses to Birmingham that take about 35 minutes. It is very easy to visit Stratford, Worcester, Nottingham and even London by train or bus.

  We are a small team and therefore we can not consider applications from friends travelling together as experience shows that this has a bad effect on the team. Such applications will not be responded to as it shows that the applicants have not read all the information.
