Description
We are a small group of entrepreneurs who have been running a well established Eco-friendly, organic furniture business from our 22 hectare farm on the beautiful Moordkuil river in the Garden Route area in the Southern Cape.
We are in the process of turning the farm into an Eco-corridor by removing any alien plant species, replanting indigenous and encouraging wildlife.
We are also restoring a 150 year old clay brick, Cape Dutch style house to create a gallery.
Other projects that we have going are, bee keeping, aquaponics, free range chickens, water wise and permaculture gardening with heirloom vegetables, establishing orchards and developing a small campsite on the river with donkey boiler showers and compost loos.

Accommodation
At the moment accommodation is in tents but we are in the process of building low cost, low impact housing which we will also need help with. We have a communal kitchen, wi-fi, compost Eco-loos and donkey boiler showers…

What else …
Although we are 16 kms from the nearest shop and 18 kms from the beach there are beautiful walks in the surrounding hills and along the river where you can swim and fly fish.
The historic port town of Mosselbay is 25 kms away and over the Outeniqua mountain in the semi-arid Klein Karoo is the Ostrich capital of Oudthoorn and the world renowned Cango Caves.
We are also surrounded by several game and safari parks. -
