  Come and enjoy Playa del Carmen with our volunteer program. Here we are such a big family and we have a great atmosphere.

  We are a community that seeks to create awareness and enlightenment through different activities such as yoga and meditation, in a very organic and natural environment in the heart of Playa del Carmen.

  We've been running the place for over two years and we have reached our goal of creating a sustainable system. We manage our hostel using natural sources, energy saving systems, organic farming, recycling of waste and reusing materials, etc.

  We welcome people of any faith, not just people who believe in Buddhism. We do not distinguish a Buddhist from a Catholic, a Protestant, a Jew, a Muslim, a Hindu. That's why we call it our kingdom. A kingdom should have lots of spiritual disciplines in it. The greater social vision for us is to establish an enlightened community through yoga, meditation and healthful practices.

• Help

  Typical help that we require from our volunteers is to keep the hostel clean and fresh (sweeping, washing the dishes, wiping, watering the plants, garbage disposing, toilet cleaning, etc.)

  Additional to housekeeping, gardening and ECO project activities, our volunteer team is in alignment with the path of daily spiritual practice, growth and transformation. Together we create a harmonious space for ourselves and our guests to reside in.

  With a unique blend of Eastern and Western perspectives our team shares their own practices and gifts, like meditation, yoga, ECO sustainability and social transformation. Therefore, we look for people with these ethics and qualities to join our family.

• Accommodation

  Includes a single bunk bed in our mixed dormitory accommodation, with your own fan, safety deposit box and plug sockets for charging your electrical gadgets. Full use of services - free purified water, electricity, WIFI, 24 hour communal kitchen, showers and bathrooms. Food is not provided, however we often cook family meals together on a contribution basis.

  Incluye hospedaje dentro del Hostel cama individual en habitación compartida mixta, desayuno comunitario (basado en cooperación voluntaria) y todos los servicios de agua, luz, cocina, regaderas, baños como un miembro más de la familia.

  We've been running the place for over two years and we have reached our goal of creating a sustainable concept and initiation of a specific Training, with the collaboration of our volunteers who have contributed with all their effort, heart and their valuable time to make of this our temple yoga, meditation and above all: good vibes

  Finally I tell you that we have a sustainable system of production and use of products, saving energy, enotecnia, organic farm, recycling glass in our kitchens, recycling of materials, etc. contributing a little bit by not using or wasting of products that can be re-used.

  Llevamos manejando el lugar por mas de dos años y hemos llegado a nuestro objetivo de crear un concepto sustentable y de iniciación a un Training muy especifico, con la colaboración de nuestros voluntarios quienes han aportado con todo su esfuerzo y corazón, su valioso tiempo para hacer de este, nuestro templo de yoga, meditación y sobre todo: buena vibra

  Finalmente te cuento que tenemos un sistema sustentable de producción y utilización de productos, desde el ahorro de energías, enotecnia, siembra organica, reutilización de vidrio en nuestras cocinas, reciclaje de materiales, etc. así, aportamos nuestro granito de arena al no consumir o desechar productos que pueden ser aprovechados.

• Cultural exchange and learning opportunites

  At our Beach Temple we offer a multicultural experience. Volunteers who join us are welcomed into our family, sharing interacting with our guests from having breakfast, learning languages and traditions, getting to know Mexico and the hidden gems you can find away from the tourists, plus our culture. There is a lot to see and do in the local area and at our lodge you will have the opportunity to participate in outdoor activities and live as a local.

  We hope this experience will guide you on the path of meditation and broaden your multicultutral knowledge. Meditation and yoga is offered daily as part of your work exchange experience.
