About the job

We are looking for a certified bookkeeper (Bilanzbuchhalter/-in) to support our Berlin finance team as Head-of-Accounting. You will drive critical accounting processes such as the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual closes, prepare VAT tax returns, and develop analyses, account clarifications and account reconciliatons. You will supervise up to 4 staff and report to the Deputy Finance Director. You will be given a great deal of responsibility from Day 1 and will enjoy a job where each day is challenging but never routine!

Who we’re looking for

You have successfully completed your education (e.g. as a certified bookkeeper or financial accountant) and have 3 – 5 years of working experience, preferably in an international environment. You are also a business minded and structured team-player, who has good MS-Office skills. Experience with Navision is a plus. Lastly, you have good written and spoken English skills, and are comfortable in a startup environment.
