We are looking for support with immediate effect of ‬a Financial Accountant to join our multicultural friendly team. The position can be located in one of our offices, Berlin or London, according to the candidate preference. ‬

Your Responsibilities ‬

• Verification, assignment, and booking of incoming and outgoing invoices. ‬‬‬‬
• Participation in monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS‬‬
• Coordination and maintenance of accounts payable and general ledger accounts‬‬‬‬‬
• Generate payment runs‬‬‬‬‬
• Settlement of travel expenses‬‬‬‬‬
• Help to create and develop enhanced finance processes‬‬‬‬‬
• Ad hoc taking charge of further tasks for accounting assistance‬‬‬‬‬

Requirements‬‬‬‬‬

• You are an accountant, assistant tax consultant or have an equivalent qualification and at least 2 years of professional experience in accounting / finance‬‬‬‬‬
• Good knowledge of accounting according to the German and/or UK accounting standards
• Good user-level knowledge of a common accounting system and MS-Office programs particularly MS Excel‬‬‬‬‬
• Independent, responsible, careful work approach‬‬‬‬‬
• Very good German and English skills are mandatory‬‬‬‬‬

Nice to have ‬‬‬

• Working experience in German and/or UK GAAP and intercompany accounting‬‬‬‬‬
• Reliable knowledge about German and/or UK applicable tax provisions‬‬
