Reporting to the Group Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the finance function of the limited partnership business entities in Germany:
- Company controlling including month-end balance sheet and P&L.
- Liaising with the auditors and prepare the company to quarterly reviews and annual audit.
- Set internal control across the company operations to insure the protection of the company assets.
- Manage daily cash balances and forecast cash needs to ensure that company’s cash flow is adequate to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.
- Manage tax accounting, compliance, reporting, and filing. Acting as the key point of contact and support for Germany taxation matters.
- Liaise with tax authorities and legal advisors and provide support on tax assessments and examinations.
- Provide internal tax advisory services and support on business operation matters/ special projects, including interpretation of local and international tax laws.
In order to succeed in the role, you should ideally have/be:
- Degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce from a reputable university
- Minimum 6 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Experience in using SAP system is an advantage
- Sound knowledge of financial accounting standards, taxation and relevant statutory requirements
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing financial data with the ability to communicate findings and
- Influence key stakeholders
- Pro-active personality with strong commercial acumen and excellent communication/interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English language are required
- Working part time on flexible hours may be an option
