The “Operations Team” manages Deliveroo’s driver fleet: a.k.a the face and wheels of Deliveroo!
As a member of this team, you are tasked with the optimization of four key pillars: driver scheduling, driver performance, driver recruitment and driver equipment. This will include:
- Management of driver fleet for area launches
- Performance management through driver data analysis
- Scheduling drivers via a web-based scheduling portal; ensuring current staffing targets are met and that we have appropriate drivers for both through and peak traffic
- Developing a strategy to overcome specific city issues in relation to driver throughput
- Discipline, driver claims, and behaviour management across a wide range of cultures
REQUIREMENTS
- Leadership skills (in a professional, academic or military or other framework)
- Strong data crunching (and food-munching) abilities
- Recruiting and training skills
- An inclination for entrepreneurship
- Resourcefulness and commitment
- Excellent attention to detail
- 1 - 3 years experience
- Hands-on. Remember, you are responsible for recruiting, training and motivating our driver fleet
- A degree from a Grande Ecole (Engineering/Business) or University equivalent
