Every day, listeners of Stitcher Smart Radio create millions of rows of data about their listening interests and habits. As the fastest growing platform for listening to radio shows and podcasts, this data set is one of the richest in the industry, and we're striving to find new ways to use that data to make our service better for listeners. We're looking for a summer intern to work on several data projects that will contribute significantly to making listening to Stitcher and discovering great content easier and more engaging for our listeners. If you love data, and want to gain experience at a premiere start-up, this is the job for you.  Internship Details: What You'll Work On User research on the types and methods of discovery that would be interesting to end users Undertake data analysis to determine the types of links that can be built between our content archives and listener data Directly work with listener data to produce product insights and user facing features for discovery of content Translate analytic insights into concrete, actionable recommendations for business or product improvement Develop visualizations of important connections inside data for use internally and externally Develop and/or provide recommendations on systems & algorithms that allow: episode discovery/suggestion topic discovery/suggestion listening stats presentation Impact of social credibility Desired Experience Working on BS or MS degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or other quantitative field
