What we’re looking for:
FATHOM is looking for a Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative to join the Oakland headquarters. As Customer Service Representative you will be responsible for supporting our Sales Team and busy Production Center.
Most of your responsibilities will include gathering information from customers to create leads and quotes, working with our production center and/or project managers to meet tight deadlines and create quotes, process orders, and help manage and nurture existing accounts. Someone who is dynamic, resourceful and can provide excellent customer service will thrive in this role at FATHOM.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-sales support: answer questions about our services/capabilities via phone, email or face to face, gather info/data from customers
- Process quotes: review and approve CAD files for printing, collect payment and shipping information to submit orders
- Liaison to Production Team: communicate with Production regarding orders and status updates
- Foster customer relationships: ensure successful transactions with FATHOM customers, and work closely with the sales team on general account maintenance to manage customer expectations
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1+ years of demonstrated success in a similar role in tech industry
- Excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of urgency, multi-tasking, and attention to detail
- Eagerness to exceed customer expectations
- Preferred experience with Salesforce, CAD and Excel are a plus, but not required
- Strong technical knowledge is not a requirement, but you must feel comfortable working in a high-tech exposure
