JeLoueMonCampingCar is a startup offering a peer-to-peer motorhome and campervan rental service, launched 3 years ago. We are a multicultural team based in one of the most innovative cities in France: Bordeaux. We truly believe in sharing economy and aim to be a key actor in collaborative tourism. Great investors give us the means to grow fast: Frédéric Mazzela (CEO at Blablacar), The Family, Stéphane Romanyszyn (CEO Entreparticuliers.com), etc. We now offer the largest motorhome and campervan fleet for rent in Europe. Everyday, we build a strong traveler community, not only in France but also in the rest of Europe. So that’s naturally we want to expand to other European countries and this is the reason we need you.
Job description
You will initiate and develop our activities in Germany and report to the head of International development and to the CEO of JLMCC. Your mission will be to launch the activity in Germany, and grow the community along with its brand awareness.
Here is a summary of your principal tasks:
Market study: motorhome rental market, competition benchmark, SEO Localizing the app: translate, monitor product modifications needed to deal with local specificities.
Marketing & comms: warm up before launching, network, collect leads
PR / communications: spread the word! Seek for valuable partnerships and any worthwhile opportunity working with webmarketing team.
Marketing: acquire customers with the best possible ROI - you will work closely with our webmarketing manager in order to champion the product development.
Website management: translate and adapt the platform to the German market, fix issues and develop constant improvements in the product with internal development team.
Operations: set up and run customer service and insurance procedures
Legal: ensure all areas of the business are aware and compliant with the German regulations and nuances.
Profile required
Hands-on and result-oriented personality. Native German or bi-cultural and fluent English. Speaking French would be appreciated. Entrepreneurial spirit. You like team work but you are also able to work independently.
Requirements
You are looking for a job in a booming sector or finishing a Master’s degree in international business, marketing or business administration. You are comfortable talking on the phone and know how to convince your discussion partner.
