What we’re looking for:

We spent the last couple of years throwing most of our Marketing energy at search engine optimization. If you do a typical search like “office space San Francisco,” we’ll come right to the top. It’s all due to our Growth Hacker, Bernard, who makes it all happen and runs our SEM campaigns.

Now we’re looking to branch out and build our first content strategy. We all have this interesting data on what people are searching for, and what areas of the city are hot. We even have like all these interesting insight into what makes a cool office, what cool offices are out there, and all of the cool products to buy.

The goal for this program is to make 42Floors a consistent producer of high quality content for people who that are interested in learning more about searching for office or are considering doing it sometime in the near future.

We currently aggregate 50,000+ office listings across North America and have tons of interesting data to analyze. Your role will be to write whatever you want within the context of commercial real estate.
 
You should be:
  • Eager to build our content market strategy from the ground up
  • Skilled at synthesizing data and explaining complicated concepts simply
  • Eager to come up with interesting topics to write about
  • Proficient with basic statistics and microeconomics

42Floors launched from the Winter 2012 batch of YCombinator with the vision of making it easy for every to find their dream office space.  We started in San Francisco and have expanded to New York with plans from national expansion on the way.
