That’s why we’re looking for a Content and Customer Associate who can do a little bit of everything.

We’re looking for a Content and Customer Associate who can leverage strong writing skills across all aspects of the organization. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can proactively take on customer service and content creation while working on a variety of projects in operations, marketing, and business development (along with whatever topics interest you as well!). You should be hungry to learn about a range of topics and eager to contribute to a fast-paced startup. We promise you’ll be stimulated.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the day-to-day customer service needs, such as responding to customer emails. Write copy that reflects our brand voice and values.
• Suggest policy and process improvements to improve our customer experience based on careful observation and analysis. Be the customer advocate on the team, always thinking about how we can improve our customer experience: brainstorm new programs, tweak messaging, perfect our packaging. Your input extends to the whole organization.
• Help with product research, content and collateral creation, marketing events, and assist different departments on special projects.
• General administrative duties, including but not limited to on-site and off-site tasks.
• Exposure to all departments of a fast-paced startups with the opportunity to explore a variety of different career opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Phenomenal writing skills. Excellent command of the English language - you know grammar rules inside out and can write clearly and concisely. Spelling and grammar errors bother you.
• A genuine enthusiasm (dare we say passion?) for working at a startup. Willing to work in all areas of the business.
• Intelligence of both the street and book variety. Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Able to execute in startup time and independently figure out things that are entirely new.
• You want to work with people who care about your professional development.
• Great attention to detail; well organized.
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the mission of Parasol.
• Flexible; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
• Must be comfortable with the small company dynamic of rolling up your sleeves and doing whatever it takes to get the job done
