    We have a small B&B lodge in Panama with a small Cafe near the beach on a tropical island 30 min by ferry from the city. Family run, employees are local residents so you have the opportunity to learn about rural Panamanian life, the culture, and polish up your Spanish skills. The village is a historic fishing community, with fantastic photo opportunities, quiet (no night action), safe.

    Volunteer needs to be a self starter, able to work on their own without supervision, honest and responsible, able to talk to strangers to promote our place, enjoy rural, tropical, sunny areas. Safe and quiet area. We require various skills. We offer a hostel type room, in the beginning it will be private but could be shared. Room has air conditioning, bathroom with hot water. We are on a steep hill with an ocean view from the balcony, good fitness, or the desire to be fit is important. Ability to cook your own meals important, although not always required.

    We speak English and Spanish, some Dutch.

    We need assistance in various areas including, working with tourists, in reception, gardening, basic maintenance such as painting, marketing online, helping to teach customer service to staff. At least some Spanish will be an asset. We can accommodate one.
