About the job

Our new venture deals with grocery shopping on consumers demand. Our goal is to fulfil the needs of our customers by supporting them with the aid of a local shopper team. As a City Manager you will be based in Munich with the goal of focusing on both operations and regional growth. As part of the local management team, your key responsibilities are to source, recruit and manage the team of local shoppers by analyzing and setting the weekly schedules, by balancing supply and demand to avoid unoccupied time. Additionally, you will deal with the local teams on-/ offboarding. You are the first point of contact for your team and teach new local shoppers how to provide amazing customer service and regular operating procedures. You will report directly to the Operations Manager. Once proven your management and organization skills, the perspective to taken over the responsibility for an overarching area containing multiple cities is given.
