BlaBlaCar is in a fast international growth phase and is starting to monetize its various markets. As the Project Manager on Payment Systems you will build out BlaBlaCar’s global payments capacity and ensure that it supports payment in multiple countries and currencies, with a wide range of local methods, for both payments in and payments out. You will improve the overall payment experience for BlaBlaCar users, improve payments’ economics and, when possible, leverage those partnerships to generate more growth.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and evaluating relevant payment actors to support payment programs all over the globe
  • Building strong relationships with external payment partners
  • Defining pilots programs and success metrics
  • Collaborating with our internal teams, such as finance and tech teams, on requirements to develop and scale the project
  • Managing project performance and roadmap
  • Approaching problems with rigorous quantitative and strategic analysis

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 - 5+ years of consulting and/or high-growth technology environments experience
  • Experience in the payment industry and understanding of the finance and payments landscape will be a significant advantage
  • Extensive experience in leading cross-functional teams, presenting to senior management, and engaging external parties
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, and ability to communicate complex details simply
  • Comfortable managing discussions from business and technical perspectives
  • Detail-oriented with great organizational skills, and highly analytical
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to thrive under minimal guidance
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline a plus
