JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Payment Project Manager you will build out a global payments platform that can support multiple countries and currencies, with a wide range of local payment methods, for both payments in and payments out. You will improve overall payment experience for BlaBlaCar users and increase payment efficiency and business economics.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and evaluating relevant payment actors to support payment programs
- Building strong relationships with external payment partners
- Defining pilots programs and success metrics
- Collaborating with our internal teams, such as finance and tech teams, on requirements to develop and scale the project
- Managing project performance and roadmap
- Approaching problems with rigorous quantitative and strategic analysis
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years payments experience in high-growth technology environments
- Strong understanding of the finance and payments landscape (processes, procedures, and policies)
- Comfortable managing discussions from business and technical perspectives
- Extensive experience in leading cross-functional teams, presenting to senior leadership, and engaging external parties
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, and ability to communicate complex details simply
- Detail-oriented with great organizational skills, and highly analytical
- Entrepreneurial, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to thrive under minimal guidance
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline a plus
