We are an easygoing Kiwi/Swedish couple with four lovely children, Two boys aged 11 and 9 and two little girls aged 4 years and another nearly 2 years. We have a lovely lifestyle property about thirty minutes from downtown Auckland but there is a nice township within 15 minutes as well. The boys attend school in Auckland city and also play football for a local team. Dad works in the city so easy to get rides into town. He also travels overseas from time-to-time. Mum is taking care of the home and is involved in a local play centre a few times a week.

Auckland

Volunteer work would include helping out with the family tasks of a sometimes busy household. As we have a large garden it would be great to have some help with this. We are also continually landscaping and planting lots of small trees and plants especially during winter.

Helping with getting kids off to school and after school homework/activities/dinner etc. Helping with the washing, tidying, cleaning, cooking and some babysitting. It would be fantastic if you could play the Piano or guitar as the boys are learning and love to play with someone.

Own large private furnished room with dining table in a garage close to the house.

Would suit a single person who is good with children and enjoys the outdoors. You need to be self motivated and not shy or hesitant. Basically someone who just gets on with things! We would enjoy showing you our little part of New Zealand and can assist you to explore further if desired.
