We are looking for an Internal Auditor Risk (m/f) to support our ventures in implementing effective controls for key risks in major business and IT processes and reliable financial reporting. You support our ventures (and Rocket Internet GmbH) in the areas of Governance, Risk and Compliance and prepare corporate guidelines. Effective and efficient solutions, new impulses and constructive feedback are required. Furthermore you are able to analyze and comment on specific accounting issues. You actively work together with the consolidation and legal teams on various Compliance projects, focusing on the implementation of efficient processes and minimizing business risks. Moreover you perform operational and financial audits to review effectiveness of controls and verify compliance of financial accounting and reporting with GAAP and other corporate guidelines. You report to our Chief Compliance Officer.

Who we’re looking for

After having successfully completed your studies in Economics, Financial Mathematics or a similar branch with focus on Finance Management, Accounting, Audit or Controlling, you gained 2-3 years of experience in a well-known auditing firm as audit assistant. You performed risk-/process-oriented audits of financial statements and possess profound knowledge of national (HGB) and international (IAS/ IFRS) accounting principles. Ideally you gained experience in the field of Internal Auditing or Compliance. You actively strive for new challenges and you are interested in improving your IT audit skills. You possess an international mind-set, intercultural competencies and are willing to travel. Outstanding analytical skills as well as fluent English and MS- Office knowledge complete your profile.
