Une possibilité de fuite ?
Description
Busy working mom with two great kids and a farm! My son is 19, out of school and working, my daughter is 13, and attending school. She is taking her second year of French and German. We have a busy working farm with 20 horses, 10 head of cattle, two dogs and four cats. We live on a gorgeous island in the Pacific Northwest, have a wonderful extended family, and are always doing something! We previously hosted an exchange student from Germany and the experience opened our eyes to making friends all over! We have since traveled to Europe and will again! I work several jobs, one being a riding instructor and we all ride. My son and I mostly western, and driving, my daughter loves English and jumping as well. Getting to know people from other countries while sharing our culture and getting more done on the farm seems like a great thing to me!!

Help
There is always something that needs done around here, and rarely enough hours in the day! So, with that in mind anything from helping keep the house clean, to picking in season fruit, to barn chores, construction, you name it! Someone who sees that something needs done and takes the initiative to ask how and do it is great! Someone with horse care and riding knowledge would be a very fun guest, but not required. I never seem to get to cleaning out the flower beds, or vacuuming the car, and anyone can wash dishes. A willing attitude and a great work ethic, is a winner here……..oh, and an awesome sense of humor too!

Accommodation
We have varied options for accommodation. Our house is a large farmhouse dating from the turn of the century, and we do have a dedicated quest room. We also have a large attic with a rollaway bed. More adventurous? The covered upstairs porch is nice in the summer, or if you want to try camping out we have a huge yard with an orchard and pond. Want to fix up a rustic tiny house?? We have a small shed in the yard that would make a sweet summer cabin.
What else …
We are located in a rural area with beaches, biking, hiking, and a great community. If you want to see cities, both Canada and Seattle are accessible. Seasonal Kayak rentals and whale watch tours, farmers Market. Learn about sustainable agriculture, family farms, and share our simple but rich lifestyle! One of my goals is simply how to do the most with what is available, using common sense and hard work. If that interests you, let’s talk!
