About the company:

Lingua Custodia was founded in 2011 by two Finance professionals with the aim to become the leader in translation automation for the financial language domain. Lingua Custodia develops fully customized financial translation software.

Many teams within financial institutions or finance departments are multi lingual and end up translating themselves urgent or very technical documents because an externalised translation would require too much time / rework. Is translation the best use of their time for very experienced finance professionals? To reduce this source of inefficiency, we are proposing a fully customised automated translation solution which Artificial Intelligence allows to learn each teams’ language and therefore reduce by at least 70% the time spent for in house translations by finance professionals. The solution relies on Natural language processing and statistics to propose the best translation to each team. The solution improves with time as it is fully personalised per team and / or usage. Once the initial training is complete with past translations, the solution is accessible through a secured web access (with a SaaS approach) and the user may translate documents in more than 30 different formats (Word, pdf, Indesign…) with 4 clicks in a matter of seconds. The solution will then evolve in a continuous improvement mode as it is used and learn the linguistic habits of its users.

Lingua Custodia has put together an international team of linguists, computational linguists, IT developers, finance professionals and process specialists, to develop the best automation solutions for financial translations and to help financial institutions to optimize their translation processes.

The company was granted the status of Young Innovative company (Jeune Entreprise Innovante) by the French Ministry for Research in 2013. Lingua Custodia was also recognized in 2014 by the “Finance Innovation association” that aims to promote innovation within the financial sector in France and is a founding member of “France Fintech” association.

The position :

As an Account Executive with Lingua Custodia you will be responsible to build and grow client relationships within new and existing client organizations. You will leverage your knowledge of the finance industry to expertly address customer’s business needs with Lingua Custodia products, tools and solutions. With Lingua Custodia, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge, skills and abilities as well as to grow your career as an Account Executive professional.

Lingua Custodia is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to help Lingua Custodia grow its market in France.

This is a position where you:

  • Will identify, nurture and contact new leads and prospects
  • Follow up on contacts after attending forums and marketing campaigns
  • Articulate the value proposition of Lingua Custodia to those leads and prospects
  • Convert leads into business meetings with key account executives
  • Support the development of new sales in France
  • Will report to Lingua Custodia’s Director of Sales

Your goals and responsibilities will be:

  • Map, identify, contact and update leads and prospects of interest for Lingua Custodia
  • Identify target customers for upselling or cross-selling of solution
  • Support account strategy planning and execution
  • Define with the new potential areas of growth in the various market segments served by Lingua Custodia
  • Represent Lingua Custodia at Industry Forums
  • Monitor the competitive landscape of your customers and within the business you develop
  • Share and report thoroughly your activity to your management

You have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ professional sales experience, preferably in B2B sales, SaaS Sales and/or from the finance sector
  • Fluent in French (native speaker) and English, as English is Lingua Custodia’s company language

You have the following skills:

  • Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods and techniques
  • General knowledge of SaaS environments
  • Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Strong listening skills and ability to ask probing questions

You are:

  • Ambitious

  • High energy and are very motivated
  • A continuous learner, flexible and open-minded
  • Able to travel frequently to prospective client locations in France
